Cartesville Woman Arrest After Attempting To Elude Georgia State Trooper

Katie Lasha Tant of Cartersville, Georgia was arrested yesterday after she attempted to elude a Georgia State Trooper who clocked her speeding. Trooper tried to catch up the to the speeding vehicle. She then quickly turned down Martin Road and into a driveway in a attempted to lose the Trooper he quickly found the vehicle and the driver sometime later. Katie Tant is being charged with Expired License Plate (Misdemeanor), Improper Passing in No Passing Zone (Misdemeanor), Failure To Obey Stop Sign or Yield After Stopping (Misdemeanor), Failure To Obey Stop Sign or Yield After Stopping (Misdemeanor), Speeding (Misdemeanor), Reckless Driving (Misdemeanor) and Fleeing/Attempting to Elude Police (Misdemeanor).
