Crash shuts down I-75 north Thursday in Bartow County

A accident involving a passenger car and tractor trailer occurred on I-75 near mile marker 290 around 8:30pm Thursday. BCEMS had numerous units respond due to there being three patients. The crews arrived to find a female patient with shoulder pain and transported that patient to CMC. The second patient a male was found to have a altered mental status. BCEMS requested Air Life respond for transport to a trauma center. The third patient a male was entrapped in the vehicle and needed to be extricated. The patient was complaining of no feeling from the waist down and numbness to the hands. BCEMS requested a second Air Life unit be en route for the third patient. He was also transported to a trauma center.
