A 23-year-old Chattooga County woman died in a single vehicle crash on East Armuchee Road in Walker County. The Georgia State Patrol believes Jessica "Jessie" Tudor crashed somewhere between 5-5:30 a.m. while heading north. About a mile into Walker County, Tudor left the roadway, struck a culvert and flipped multiple times. "It was in a straightaway," said State Patrolman J. Ballard First Class 2, of the Walker County Post. A Logging Truck spotted the vehicle sitting near the roadside around 6:20 a.m. and reported the accident to Walker County 911. Trooper Ballard said although Tudor's silver 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser was just off the roadway, it was still dark. "And a lot of people are not traveling through there at that time of day," Trooper Ballard said. Tudor's vehicle traveled about 410-feet from the point it left the roadway until it struck a utility pole with the top of the roof. The trooper said Tudor was not wearing a seatbelt.
