Motorcyclist Arrested After Fleeing From Catoosa County Deputies

Catoosa County Deputy spotted a speeding motorcycle on Highway 27 Wednesday night shortly before midnight. The deputy sped up to the motorcycle and attempted to stop the speeding motorcyclist. The suspect identified as Daniel Weston Gentry failed to stop. The suspect continued leading Catoosa County Deputies on a brief pursuit. Gentry was quickly taken into custody without incident on Harker Road near Gracie Ave in Fort Oglethorpe. Gentry is curnntely being charged with Reckless Driving, Taillights DUI, Driving While License Suspended Or Revok, Fleeing Or Attempting To Elude A Police Officer, Possession Of A Schedule Ii Controlled Substance Meth, and Obedience To Traffic Control Devices Required.
