Fairmount Police Department looking for man who fled on foot from a traffic stop

Authorities are looking for a Jasper man who fled from Fairmount police officers near the intersection of Hwy. 53 East and Carter Mtn. Rd. Tuesday. Police spotted the vehicle just after 3:00 PM.

After pulling the vehicle over a suspect identified as Vincent Alexander Miller fled on foot. Vincent Alexander Miller is wanted out of Polk County and now has several more drug related and fleeing charges out of Gordon County. He is not considered dangerous but may still be in the area. Miller is described as 5'10", 160 pounds, blue eyes, and brown hair. Alexander was last seen wearing a gray baseball style hat, a gray short sleeve shirt, and gray colored pants. If seen do not attempt to make contact, please call 911 or Fairmount Police immediately.
