Person seriously injured after two vehicle crash in Floyd County

Floyd County 911 received a call of a two vehicle crash on Highway 27 at Six Mile shortly before 4:00 PM Friday afternoon. The caller stated one vehicle had flipped entrapping the driver. Floyd County PD along with Fire and EMS responded to the crash. Upon Floyd County Police arrival they found one person in a Jeep overturned entrapment with serious injuries. Fire Department arrived shortly after extracting and helped the patient from the vehicle. EMS quickly transported the patient to a local hospital.
