Man killed in fatal crash on Highway 100 in Chattooga County

The man killed in today's fatal crash on Highway 100 has been identified as 45-year-old Lavonne Humphrey of Chattooga County. He was the former pastor of West Summerville Baptist Church. according to The Summerville News. The crash happened around 7:30 AM Thursday morning. SCRT Team with the Georgia State Patrol Is investigating the fatal crash. Details as to what happened are limited at this time. Multiple charges including Vehicular Homicide are pending for the other driver who was seriously injured in the two vehicle crash. That area of Highway 100 has had multiple crashes in which people were seriously hurt or killed.
