Man shot in the head and killed in Rossville on State Line Road

Walker County Sheriff's Department say 33-year old Jeremy Little killed Wednesday afternoon. Sheriff Steve Wilson says the call came in around 1:30 p.m. on a person shot call at 408 State Line Road in Rossville. Statrted after a possible argument over a Facebook post, which is could have led to the shooting. Detectives say Jeremy Little was shot in the head once in his backyard. Rossville Police department along with GBI responded to the shooting. Walker County 911 received a call of a possible homicide suspect wanitng to turn himself in at 23 Crestview Drive in Rossville. Police quickly responded and took the suspect into custody without incident. 44-year-old Robert W. Ellis Jr. went to the residence of 33-year-old Jeremy Little, at 408 State Line Road, shot Little in the head with a .45 semi-automatic handgun and fled the scene, police say. Ellis has been charged with murder.
