Crews battle house fire in Walker County Saturday afternoon

Walker County 911 received a call of a house fire at 847 Richardson Road off East Armuchee road Saturday afternoon just before 2:00. Walker 500, Battalion 3, Engine 11, 13, Wagon 13, Air 7, Company 8 (Walker Prison) EMS Puckett 804 on standby. Wagon 13 was first on scene and advised a fully involved double wide. Crews quickly went to work extinguishing the house fire. A family was displaced due to the fire Red Cross was contacted to assist. The cause of the fire is still under investigation no injuries were reported.
