Man dies from injuries sustain in crash at dangerous intersection Friday night in LaFayette

Man dies after being transported by Life Force Friday night in Walker County. The crash happened on the LaFayette Bypass just before 9:00 at the intersection near the post office. Puckett EMS requested Life Force shortly after arriving on scene. Emergency crews requested them to land at the Walker County Civic Center on the landing pad. This helped shorten the length for Life Force to respond and made an easier landing zone for them. The details on what happened or the name of the victim have not been released, police is still investigating the crash. This is not the first serious crash at the intersection.
