Head-on collision on Hwy. 114 injuries three in Summerville

Georgia State Patrol Trooper 485 rolled up on a serious accident Monday night just before 6:00 pm. The series two-vehicle head-on collision happened on Hwy. 114 at Raccoon Creek Road in Summerville. Three people were taken to a Floyd County hospital after a the crash with serious to fair condition. Engine 9 squad 6, two Redmond EMS units along with Chattooga County Sheriff deputies responded to the accident. The roadway was shut down while crews worked the scene with only one lane being open.
