Intoxicated female leads police on a high speed chase with her kids in vehicle

Suspect identified as 32-year-old Jennifer Browning of 44 McGinnis circle pulled up to a road block intoxicated at East Washington St. and Highland ave . Police was going to let her call family to pick up her kids before she was arrested but she had other ideas. She took off down highland Ave onto Highway 27. Summerville Police Department along with Chattooga Sheriff deputies on a high speed chase in a mini van down Highway 27 into Walker County. The high speed who were helping with road blocked chased after the female. The pursuit
continued down Highway 27 reaching speeds over 100 miles per hour. A Chattooga County SO supervisor monitoring the chase terminated the pursuit for Sheriff Deputies due to the danger with kids being in the vehicleThe chase went down Highway 27 into Walker County continuing at high speeds before turning onto East Rogers Road and stopping at her residence. The suspects family then came out to see what the commotion was all about and started fighting with officers while they were trying to arrest the suspect. The children were unharmed during the dangerous chase. she is being charged with DUI, driving on wrong side of road, DUI/ child endangerment (Two counts), escape, failure to maintain single lane, fleeing/ attempting to elude officers, improper use of central turning lane, passing in a no passing lane, reckless driving, Speeding of an excess of 100 mph and willfully obstruction of law enforcement.
