Suspect wanted after leading Dade County Sheriff's deputies on a wild high speed chase

Dade County sheriff's deputy Michael cloud attempted to stop a speeding pickup truck on Michael's road on Sand mountain Sunday afternoon. The person driving the truck would not stop; therefore, Deputy Cloud gave chase. A chase that ended on a dead-end road in Alabama. After the vehicle left the roadway and went down a driveway the driver now identified as Charles Wooten of Dade County jumped out and ran on foot across a field. Law enforcement searched the area for the suspect. Shortly after the suspect was spotted and took off leading police on a foot pursuit to the road where he believed had someone waiting pick him up. According to officials a warrant has been issued for felony eluding against wooden. Information obtained says that wooden is currently out on bond facing drug charges.
