Third alarm three-story house fire in Walker County

Around 5:45 PM Saturday night Walker County 911 received a call about a house fire at 1317 North Long Hollow Road. The crews responding to the fire included Walker County Emergency Services, engine 6, truck 6, Walker Company 8 (Walker Prison) Battalion 2, Walker 500 (Assistant Chief) along with a Puckett EMS unit for standby. The caller advised there was a fire in the garage. Firefighters quickly arrived on scene advising a three-story wood frame structure nearly fully engulfed with explosion from propane tanks. Shortly after Walker 500 transmitted a second alarm for the house fire. Engine 5, Wagon 11, Wagon 9, Engine 1 engine 3 engine 2 responded to the fire. The long narrow drive way made it hard for crews to up to the house easily. Engines and tankers from all over Walker county responded to the fire. Walker 500 shortly after transmitted a third alarm with mutual aid response from East Ridge Tn and Catoosa County. Including three hose companies with personal. Crews battled the large house fire into the cold night. The house is said to be own by Dr. Bosshardt Family Farms well known people in Walker County area. Neighbors say they are a really nice people and were saddened to see the house go up in flames. Unknown what might or have started the house fire. Once more information is released we will update you.
