SWAT called to house Saturday night in Catoosa County

UPDATE: The standoff came to an end after 1:30 Monday morning. The male believed to be older was loaded into a ambulance unknown condition at this time EMS and Fire were dispatch to Summit Dr. in Catoosa County to stage around 9:00 pm Saturday for a barricaded person inside home. Sheriff Gary Sisk tells North West Georgia Scanner the incident occurred at a home on 98 Summit Drive and began with a civil dispute with family in court. Sheriff Sisk says a man ran his family out of the house and is possibly armed and threatened his family & law enforcement officers as they approached the home. Specially trained officers (HBT) are now on scene trying to negotiate with the man. Multiple agencies including Georgia State Patrol (GSP) on scene, no threat to the public please avoid area.
