Firefighter injured and another is with out a home after house fire early Saturday morning in Dade C

Dade County Firefighters battle large house fire in freezing temptress early Saturday morning, leaving one firefighter injured and another without a home. Around 4:00 AM Saturday morning Dade County 911 received a call about a residential structure fire at 819 Memorial Ln in Trenton. Dispatchers were advised that there was a fire in the attic of the structure. When First crew arrived on scene they advised heavy smoke and flames showing out the roof. Dispatchers paged an all call to firefighters in Dade County to respond to the working fire. Multiple engines and a firefighters responded to the call in the early morning hours to extinguish the fire. During the large blaze a firefighter suffered a broken wrist and had to under go surgery. Firefighters continued to battle the fire into the morning daylight, requesting mutual aid from Walker County Engine Company 8 from Walker Prison. Crews continued to work
for hours to get the fire under control. The house was said to be a total loss, the American Red Cross was called into the scene to help with the family that had been displaced by the fire. A firefighter who worked with the Chattanooga Fire Department lived at the house. Crews finally got the fire under control and out around 7:00 later that morning. Fire chief ordered MacDonald's for all the first responders that were on scene working the fire. Unknown what started the house fire at this time.
