The Dade County Sheriff'f Office reported an armed robbery took place Christmas Eve at the Citgo Station on Highway 136 west at the Alabama line, around 9:30 pm Sheriff Ray Cross said the suspected armed robber was wearing some sort of toboggan or something on his head, was wearing gray-ish blue bandana to cover hi face, a dark green shirt, dark pants and gray tennis shoes. He appeared to weigh between 170 and 180 and was around 5-9. The age of the robber is unknown. Sheriff said he was also wearing gloves, and was armed with a black semiautomatic pistol. Sheriff also added the suspect could've had a get away car waiting on him, and could've fled into Alabama. The Jackson County Alabama Sheriff's Department assisted in the search since the arm robbery happened so close to the state line Christmas Eve. The investigation continues if you have any information regarding this incident you are asked to call the Dade County Sheriff's Officer at 657-DADE, 706-657-3233.

We will update you as more information in the investigation is released.
