Traffic stop in Murray County leads to huge bust and arrest

Murray County Sheriff's Office said "Hardly a day goes by that we don't make a Drug Arrest. Sometimes they are several in one day. But then there are some that stand out a little more than others. Like this one..." On Friday December 9, 2016 at approximately 2223 hours a traffic stop was conducted by one of our K9 Units at Central. During the stop the officer located and seized Cocaine, Marijuana, several drug related objects, and $1278.00 of US Currency. The driver has been charged with traffic violations and Possession of a Controlled Substance along with the Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance.
Arrested: Alex Koray Semratedu, 17, 11 Hardy St., Chatsworth, was charged Friday by the Murray County Sheriff's Office with possession of cocaine; purchase, possession, manufacture, distribution or sale of marijuana; possession of drug-related objects; a brake light violation; and failure to maintain lane.
