Couple Steals Cartersville Police Car While Being Placed Under Arrest

Officers around Northwest Georgia are seeking a pair of suspects who stole a Cartersville police car on Saturday. Shortly just after 5:00pm Saturday evening a Cartersville Police Officer had his patrol car stolen. Law enforcement local and state help with the search for the vehicle. Cartersville Police believe Rudy Lee Vinson and Annastasia Nicole Earwood stole the patrol car Saturday. The two are currently wanted on unrelated burglary charges in Cartersville. The vehicle is described as a marked 2008 White Dodge Charger police car with the license plate GV85379 and unit number 4230. It has a yellow troop support ribbon magnet on the back of the vehicle and an AED sticker on the back left side. If see the stolen patrol car, call 770-382-2526 or 911 immediately. CPD says the vehicle contains a shotgun and rifle, the public should not approach the two. This isn't the first patrol car stolen in Bartow County this year. A sheriff's vehicle was stolen earlier this year in July. Just when you think nothing else crazy could happen in Bartow county something else happens.
