Chattooga County firefighters battle mobile home fire just across state line in Alabama on Cloudland

Tuesday Afternoon Chattooga County 911 received a call of a possible mobile home of fire just across state line in Alabama on County Rd 103. The caller advised they could se heavy smoke coming from the mobile home. Fire Stations 2,4, 11, and 7 responded along with a medic unit on standby. The first firefighter arrived on scene and stated a single wide mobile was home fully involved. Despite the rain and horrible weather the firefighters worked hard to put the fire out and get it under control. The case of the fire is unknown or if anyone lived there. At this time the mobile is believed to be a total loss.
