More Wildfires in the region as Forestry battles to contain the ones still burning

GFC is expecting another busy day with variable winds (North 3-6 MPH) and low relative humidity (35%). They are working on three active fires in the area. There are two fires on Lookout Mountain in Dade/Walker County (Tatum Gulf/Cloverdale and Creek Road) and one fire on Rocky Face. Fire officials are working on containment of these fires and keeping a watch for any more fire starts in the area. Currently there is a total of 170 resources, firefighters on the fires in the North GA area. A brush fire off Scenic highway Lookout Mountain Flight Park started endangering some buildings. Another brush fires started in a field on Baker Dr. in LaFayette Georgia around lunch today.
