Firefighters and engines from the region respond mutual aid for wildfire threatening homes on Lookou
Multiple engines and firefighters respond for mutual aid with a wildfire threatening homes in Dade County. Engines and firefighters from Whitfield, Gordon, Walker, Chattooga, and Dade County have been helping with the wildfire on Tatum Gulf Road on Lookout Mountain. The GFC has set up fire encroaches on homes and property to protect homes on Lookout Mountain. At this time, there has been no structure damage or evacuations. Two Wildfires on Lookout Mountain in Dade and Walker County Cloverdale- 450 acres and Tatum Gulf - 100 acres. Please avoid area if possible due to all the fire activity.
