Arrest made in a multi-state theft ring in Walker County

The Lookout Mountain Drug Task Force along with other agencies made an arrest Tuesday after multi-state theft ring investigation in Walker County. Task Force Commander Pat Doyle charged 42 year old Eric Shon Burke with possession of meth and intent to distribute. Drug weighing and packaging was also taken along with 12 thousand dollars worth with of stolen property. Commander Doyle said the stolen items taken included a vehicle and a 4-wheeler taken from Floyd County along with items taken from Alabama thefts. Another suspect was able to get away after brief foot pursuit . Doyle said the suspects were hiding at the end of Old Villanow Rd near LaFayette.
