Police Pursuit through North West Georgia Sunday Night

Shortly before 8:00 p.m. Sunday night suspects took off from a check point. The chase started around the 345 exit in Catoosa county and ended in walker county around Ben Childs Rd when the suspects bailed from the vehicle on foot. Leading law enforcement agencies from Catoosa, Whitfield, Walker county and Georgia State Patrol on a lengthy chase through multiple counties. The pursuit reached speeds of 70 mph. Occupied by two subjects male and female. They was said to possibly be driving under the influence.
