Fire Destroys Trailer Home On Wade Dr In Summerville, GA Wednesday Evening

Shortly after 6:00 PM Wednesday evening central station 4, station 7, station 9 and EMS station 12 were paged to a trailer fire on Wade Dr off Mahan Road in Summerville, GA. Engine 9, Engine 7, Squad 7 Engine 4 and a county SO unit responded to the call. Dispatchers reported that the house was abandoned Upon arrival Engine 9 reported a structure 70% involved and advised for the next unit on scene to provide water. Crews quickly started working on getting the fire under control and out. Crews Battled the blaze for three hours before putting it out.
